FOREWORD
In this New Age that we find ourselves in, more and more people are becoming aware of certain psychological concepts that focus on wholeness, on integrating all our positive potentials.
An increasing number of people are starting to hear of Carl Jung, a man who has done much for our understanding of the psyche. He fused Eastern thought with Western science, and he has inspired many other scholars of pioneering spirit - all of whom agree that we would have no real understanding of concepts like Yin and Yang if it were not for Jung.
This following article is designed to show the development of Jung's concepts, from his altered Freudian theories to the innovative - and extremely important - work he did on the natures of masculinity and femininity.
This is not intended to be chronologically correct, though his progress in formulating his psychology roughly followed as is laid out.
The last chapter, entitled Physics in Analytical Psychology, is intended as a supplement, and extension detailing concepts arrived at by Jung after blending physics and psychology.
