This site is dedicated to the "Philosophical Mind", a concept which Socrates had to drink poison for, and one which is poison to many even today. Many of us take for granted the struggles of the students of Socrates, like Plato, and the countless other "Philosophers" since. Yet - forgive me if I sound harsh here - it seems that a good portion of humanity still hasn't gained this capacity. And I'm not even talking of supreme intellectual enlightenment or anything - just the ability to step out of one's shell and view a given topic from as many angles as possible, free from conscious or emotional bias.
I hope to offer some interesting opinions and insights from myself and others on a variety of subjects. However, in the quest for truth we often find the reverse, so use your own Philosophical mind - I don't offer truths here, but try to give a balanced view and/or give voice to theories and opinions that are controversial or unknown. Actually, some are just plain personal opinions from people I encounter, people who read these pages, and myself (so please feel free to e-mail me with comments or suggestions).
Others are factual articles, for example
reporting on discoveries or world events. However, even many of these are
treated in an objective manner, and all aspects (or arguments) are looked
at if possible.
